Youth is not only vigorous and beautiful,but also be full of restless and dolorous,even with some sign of aging and death——that is the youth's feature in the young artist Qiu Qijing's mind, diametrically opposed but can not be separated. After his famous works “Migration ”,he transfers his view from the common people to himself’s exploration. As a artist born in the end of 70s, the strong social and political awareness in the 30 years ago and the utopian's visual experience gradually was covered by the growing materialistic desires and rich developed visual experience——time is flying and star is shifting so the changes of external environment in the different times make the different youth awareness and presentation.That youth's model which was controled and builded by the political purposes and social teachings transfers into the young people's self experience with the sensitive and subtle, so the body jump from the important channel connect the self and world. The physical feeling and presentation have never been became the starting point of understanding and reflecting the world for the young people.
But once the body combined with the youth and perception means together, the physical desire will form a kind of inseparated relationship with the knowledge norms which the consciousness shuttle into between them and become the link and intermediary also witness the conflict and interwist. In the strangling field of body youth and social norms, Qiu Qijing realized the two sides of youth and tried to present it which is like the twin and insepartated by his works.
